Monica Elena Presents Two Books for the Soul


Monica Elena, respected and beloved artist and TV personality has two new books filled with medicine for the soul. I had a wonderful opportunity to meet this sweet human being as I attended the launch of her two books: "Flying Faraway" and "Essays from Here and There."

As part of the audience, I was intrigued to witness the warmth and love lavished on her by her close friends. But when I heard Monica’s introductory words, I only then understood why she was so dear.

 I felt so much peace and calm to hear her voice, which calls us back to be the innocent children we have forgotten about and lost. Yes, it sounds so simple, but it's true. Perhaps the secret to have an emotionally balanced life is to revisit our earlier, simpler, sweeter childhood days.



As the ceremony continued, I decided to read one of her books: "Flying Faraway". I loved it. The truth is that at first I thought it was simply a children's book; but as I read on, I realized that this was a message of tenacity, guts, courage and putting starch in your pants. Yes, this book reminds us of the courage which we must gather to fly away from the nest, that safety net we are all used to and hide within, because we felt secure inside. The fear of the unknown robs us of our opportunity to succeed. The book urges us to be more adventurous and to open our wings to fly far, to make the courageous leap of faith and to seek new directions where only  the sky is the limit.

Mónica Elena, presenta dos libros para el alma.

Mónica Elena, conocida y querida personalidad de tv presenta dos libros llenos de medicina para el alma. Tuve la maravillosa oportunidad de conocer personalmente a tan dulce ser humano, ya que asistí a el lanzamiento de sus dos libros: “Volando lejos” y “Ensayos de aquí y allá”.

Como parte de la audiencia, percibí el cariño y amor de sus amigos y amigas en esa noche. Me quedé muy intrigada pero cuando escuché sus palabra de presentación, entonces entendí, el porqué es tan querida.

Sentí mucha paz y tranquilad al escuchar su voz, la que invita a volver a ser ese inocente niño que hemos perdido. Si, suena tan trillado, pero es verdad, quizás el secreto para tener una vida emocionalmente equilibrada es el entrar en una regresión hacia nuestros días mas dulces.

Mientras la ceremonia continuaba, me decidí ha leer uno de sus libros: “Volando Lejos”. Me encanto, la verdad al principio, pensé que era un libro para niños, pero al entrarme en el mismo, comprendí que es un mensaje de tenacidad, valor, coraje y pantalones. Si, así mismo, este libro nos enseña a volar lejos del nido, al que todos estamos acostumbrados porque nos sentimos seguros. El miedo a lo desconocido, nos roba la oportunidad de alcanzar el éxito. El libro nos incita a ser mas arriesgados y ha abrir las alas para volar lejos, a buscar nuevos rumbos donde el cielo es el límite.

Two books to live motivated

Monica Elena is a Cordoba-born Argentinean, now working in Pennsylvania. In September 29, 2011, she presented her two newly released books in Elizabeth, NJ: "Essays from Here and There" and "Flying Faraway". Although the second book appears on the surface as a children’s book, both should be considered and understood as spiritual support literature.


The presentation was made at the Las Palmas restaurant in Elizabeth. The introduction was made by the journalist Ramiro Valdiviezo and the reading of parts of the texts were performed by Patricia Marino and Ana Goldman.



The preface of her book defines her life’s major commitment to be a mentor of life and a messenger of peace. Indeed, in 2008, she was named "Ambassador of Peace" by an association of all religious faiths.

 Monica defines her messages of life and positive energy through the publication of articles in the international media, including Banda Oriental, for which she is an active and regular contributor. 

She also writes, directs, edits and stars in her own TV series “Take Action with Monica Elena". In the past she participated in the TV series "Waking Up with You" and her newest project is titled "Within the Family."

Monica actively maintains and updates her own website: http://www.monicaelena.com, where through personal videos, she explains the focus of her career as an advocate for peace which has led her to travel around the world.

 Her reflections and messages are undoubtedly the result of much introspection, meditation, and her commitment to the practice of peace. She seeks to convey a positive view of the world, people and events in daily life, as the concrete and real expressions of spiritual life.

 The core of her life’s philosophy is based on the principle "Yes We Can". The notion is that all human beings innately possess the inner power to achieve everything that they need.

 
In her book "Essays from Here and There" each chapter of her thoughts and reflections ends with the same phrase: "Joy and wisdom for you", which speaks of her good intentions that accompany these books and her life.

Monica Elena is a prolific writer as well as a wonderful visual artist. All of the artistry in both of her books flows from her own hand.

Dos libros para vivir motivados

Mónica Elena es una argentina nacida en Córdoba y radicada en Pensilvania, quien el pasado 29 de septiembre en la ciudad de Elizabeth, presento dos libros de su autoria: “Ensayos de aquí y allá” y “Volando lejos”. Si bien el segundo libro esta destinado a los niños, los dos se clasifican dentro del marco de lo que se entiende como literatura de apoyo espiritual.

La presentación su realizada en el restaurante “Las Palmas” de dicha ciudad: La introducción estuvo a cargo del periodista Ramiro Valdiviezo y la lectura de algunas partes de los textos fueron realizadas por: Patricia Marino y Anny Goldman.

En el prefacio de su libro se define la dedicación principal de su vida: ser una mentora de vida, una mensajera de paz.

Precisamente en el 2008, fue nombrada “embajadora de la paz” por una asociación de religiosos de distintas creencias.

Mónica define sus mensajes de vida y su vibra positiva, a través de la publicación de artículos en medios de prensa, entre los que se encuentra Banda Oriental, del cual es una colaboradora activa.

Como se subraya en el prefacio, también participa y es productora de un programa televisivo: “Toma acción con Mónica Elena”; en el pasado participo en “Amaneciendo con tigo” y en la actualidad “En Familia”.

Posee su propia website: http://www.monicaelena.com donde a través de videos personales, Mónica explica el eje central de su trayectoria, que como defensora de la paz la ha llevado a recorrer distintas partes del mundo.

Sus reflexiones o mensajes son fruto –sin lugar a dudas- de la meditación, practica gracias a la cual elabora los mismos, con los que busca transmitir una visión positiva del mundo, de las personas y de los hechos del diario vivir, tanto sean los concretos y reales, como los espirituales.

El eje de su filosofía de vida se basa en el principio que el ser humano tiene la posibilidad, la potencialidad, de obtener todo lo que se proponga, postura que centra en la conocida frase popular: “Si, se puede”

En su libro “Ensayos de aquí y allá” termina o cierra cada una de sus reflexiones o pensamientos con la misma frase: “Alegrías y sabidurías para ti”, lo que habla de la buena intención que, sin lugar a dudas, acompaña no solo a sus libros, sino también a su vida.

Mónica Elena, es además de escritora una maravillosa artista plástica y queda demostrado en sus dos obras donde portadas e ilustraciones, son de su autoria.
